Hey guys,
I ve been searching for a good chatbox
There are also a couple of toolbars, but they go Over each other
Here is a page where you can test them yourself
http://www.b07clan.smfnew.com/index.php/page,Test.html
What do you guys think ? what is the nicest ?
Here is a list of what i found,
The real chatboxes
Flash chatThis is my favorite
good: - Can be used without registration, however its realy easy and fast to register.
- Easy to sendPM's (personal messages)
- Looks good
- You canot use charchers like $ in your name
- (we could add more rooms but im not very sure of that)
bad: - takes a little long to load But maybe its becouse there are to many widgets on the test site.
- No history (you cant see what was said before you logged in)
- No sounds (new messanges etc.)

Free chat roomWell... it works
Good: - you can use charchers like $ in your name
- Sounds (new messages etc.)
- PM's (pearsonale message) are
- Possibility to block/mute users (like when they spam)
- Can be used without registration, I think it can also be used With a registration (but i dont know how yet )
- Load time not to bad
Bad: - The look ! its horrible !!
- (to) much adds
- No history (you cant see what was said before you logged in)

99chatI think flash chat is just a little better | A little confusing
good:
- also a little bad: there is a mute button so i guess the should be sounds, but i cant enable them
- Very easy PM's (personal message)
- can be used without registration
Bad: - Cant find how to enable sounds
- There is a possibility to login, but you dont seem to be able to register lol
- No history (you cant see what was said before you logged in)

IRCI think most of you allready know IRC, for those who dont: Its a old VERY much used way to chat. But i have to admit It will be the first time i use IRC so ill have to learn it

. But that wont be realy a problem
Good: - Can be used with your own program (like mIRC or Xchat)
- Much support on vorums/blogs etc.
- Much possibilities
- Can be used with and without registration.
- Loads faster than all the other chatboxes (at least at my computer (linux:OpenSUSE with (no google) chrome))
- PM's supported and easy when you know how
Bad: - No history (you cant see what was said before you logged in) (maybe there is but i dont know where.
- May be a bit difficult to learn for those that dont know IRC

The tool/chat barsIt may be a bit difficult to see those on the test page since they overlap each other. So ill also provide a link to a page with the specific toolbar so you can look at it without having all the other toolbars 'over' it
[I will test the toolbars tomorrow]
